In the Blue Ink Tech app, open the menu and select Dashcam. Tap the green gear icon and select Dashcam settings.
Auto Connect
This setting stops the in-app "WiFi Needed" pop up message explaining the WiFi connection to your Dashcam. You will still need to click "Join" on any pop-up messages from your phone or tablet.
If you log in to the app on multiple devices, you will need to set this on each device.
WiFI Network
The dashcam can join a local wireless network like any phone or tablet.
Tap the arrow to enter the network name and password. Once this is entered, the dashcam will automatically connect to the WiFi network whenever it is in range.
Videos and images requested from the website while the dashcam is on WiFi will not use any cellular data from the dashcam plan.
LED Control
You can turn off the Dashcam's LED indicator lights.
Camera Rotation
If you have installed your main camera any way but upright, you can manually change the rotation of the camera feed so the video files can be viewed in the correct orientation.
2nd Camera Rotation
If you have installed your remote camera any way but upright, you can manually change the rotation of the camera feed so the video files can be viewed in the correct orientation.
2nd Camera Mirror
If you have your remote camera pointed at your side mirror, this setting will flip the camera feed horizontally.
Take Image Button
You can have your Dashcam snap a photo of its current view and send it to the app. You can use this feature to check both road-facing and secondary camera views to make sure they are aimed correctly.
