# Streaming Dashcam Video

## Stream video from remote dashcams in the BIT web portal on your phone or desktop.

#### How to open a stream

Logged into the web portal at blueinktech.com, select Equipment, then Vehicles. Select a vehicle equipped with a BIT Dashcam by clicking on its name in the table.

On the Vehicle record page, the Dashcam widget is on the top of the right panel. A green camera icon indicates the dashcam is connected and available for streaming.

Click the "OPEN STREAM" button and choose "Forward" for the main road-facing camera footage, or "Secondary" for the footage from the remote camera that might face inward.

#### Streaming limits

Streaming is limited to 100mb per day to preserve data for the rest of the month.

The Daily Data Usage progress bar will turn yellow, then orange, and finally red when the daily limit has been reached.

It is best to stream only short intervals, and to make sure to close out the stream window when you're finished watching.

*Upgrading the dashcam plan will give you a second 100mb to stream today and add another 500mb to the monthly limit so streaming will be available for more days of the month.*
