How do I leave my old carrier?

You can leave a carrier in the web portal.

If you've joined a new carrier and will no longer driver for your old one, it's a good idea to leave the old carrier. Log in to the web portal at Select My Account from the left-hand menu, then select My Roles.

You will see a table with all the roles (administrator, driver or user) you have with all carriers you currently belong to. Click the "Leave Carrier" link next to all the roles you held with your old carrier.

Please note that once you leave a carrier, you will no longer be able to share logs with them or access their vehicles and sensors.

There are a few things that will need to handled manually by the BIT Support Team when leaving a carrier. Call us at 304-840-0142 or email for help if any of the following apply to you:

  1. You were the only administrator of your previous carrier. You won't see the option to "Leave Carrier" and will need to have us do it for you.
  2. You are a driver taking your truck with you to your new carrier. You will not be able to create a new truck with the same VIN, so we will need to move it for you.
  3. You are a driver who purchased Air Scale or TPMS sensors and wish to take them with you to your new carrier.
