Every BIT ELD has indicator lights that let you know it's working properly, connected, or needs attention.
| LED Color | Meaning |
| Blue | Adapter is ready to connect to the Blue Ink Tech app |
| Green | Adapter is connected to the Blue Ink Tech app |
| Yellow (blinking) | The engine is on, but the driver has not logged in to the app |
| Red (blinking | The vehicle is moving, but the driver has not logged in to the app |
| Purple | Adapter has recorded unidentified driving records |
| Cyan (white) | Adapter should be unplugged and plugged back in |
